Parkdale Islamic Education Centre — a place of prayer, learning, and community in the heart of Downtown Toronto.
Three congregations throughout the year to accommodate our growing community.
We are planning to purchase the adjacent storefront to expand Hamza Masjid — creating an extended prayer hall, a dedicated ladies' section, and a full madrasa, Insha'Allah.
The management of Masjid Hamza treats every donation as a sacred trust. All transactions are transparent, publicly available, and go directly towards this noble cause. Sadaqah does not decrease wealth — it transfers it from your Dunya account to your Akhirah account.
Serving the spiritual, educational, and social needs of the Parkdale Muslim community.
The Masjid is open for all five daily prayers. Open from Fajr for approximately one hour, and from Dhuhr through Isha daily.
Quran and basic Arabic language classes for children ages 5–7 (Tues–Wed, 6–7 PM) and Islamic Studies for ages 8–11 (Mon–Thu, 6–7 PM).
After Maghrib Salat daily — Hadith and Sunnah education for adults, delivered by Imam Ayoub.
Every Thursday 6:15–7:15 PM: foundational Islamic knowledge — Imaniyat, fiqh of prayers, and practical Muslim living.
Daily Iftar, Taraweeh prayers throughout Ramadan, and Eid-ul-Fitr & Eid-ul-Adha congregational prayers.
Marriage ceremonies, guidance & counselling (by appointment via phone or email), Dawah programs, and support for new Muslims.
Hamza Masjid was established in 1999 by a dedicated group of Muslims in the Parkdale neighbourhood — a community of approximately 1,000 Muslim families. Since then, it has served as the spiritual and educational heart of the community.
Alhamdulillah, the Masjid was purchased for $1.2 million on July 31, 2015, and is now completely debt-free. We are now focused on expanding to better serve our growing community.
